Windows device driver information for Cinergy 2400i DT Tuner

The Cinergy 2400i is a DVB-T (digital terrestrial solution) which utilizes PCI Express slots. The two tuners enable users to simultaneously view one TV program and record another. It only requires one cable connection as signal distribution to both tuners occur internally. The device works by insertion into a personal computer's PCI Express slot. The device can be manipulated via the stock remote control. Aside from the features of conventional home theater systems including digital video recording, electronic program guides, and time-shifting; TerraTec also enables scanning of television schedules through the Internet. To save electricity, the computer starts up or turns itself on from sleep mode once the television show to be recorded starts. The programmed show is then saved automatically onto the hard drive. The recording can also be viewed while the process of recording occurs.
