The DAYTEK DT-95A is a 19 inch flat type computer display monitor with an 18 inch viewable screen area. This translates to more display room for the textual and graphical contents rendered to the computer user. Essentially a bigger viewing area does not automatically translate to better display quality. What is important is that the optimum display resolution be used in order to come up with the best display profile possible. This is commonly done with the installation of the corresponding device driver. This means that with the presence of the correct device driver the computer user may benefit from the maximum display resolution of 1280 by 1024 pixels. The computer use however does not only benefit from the maximum display resolution but also gains access to a number of predetermined display profiles. These display profiles have been tested by the manufacturer to correctly function for the supported hardware component with minimal to no display errors observed.
Unless you update your drivers regularly you may face hardware performance issues.
To check your drivers you should manually verify every device on your system for driver updates
The display profiles basically define a set of display resolution and its corresponding refresh rate. While the display resolution identifies the number of pixels used to create a specific image on the computer display screen, the refresh rate on the other hand defines the number of times that the image on the computer screen should be redrawn. What this translates to is not only a better image quality but also a potentially flicker free display. For the DAYTEK DT-95A the most common display profiles used are 1280 by 1024 pixels at 63 Hz, 1024 by 768 pixels at 93 Hz, 800 by 600 pixels at 113 Hz, and 640 by 480 pixels at 150 Hz. These combination of resolution and refresh rate values represent what the manufacturer considers as the optimum setting for these attributes. Aside from these display attributes the computer user can also adjust the corresponding values for the other display properties like brightness, contrasts, and gamma among others. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for and DAYTEK DT-95A errors before installing any driver updates.
