The Dell Pocket DJ is the first micro hard drive-based MP3 player created by Dell. It continues to gain popularity just like other micro hard drive-based players, particularly since it exhibits a very practical size and weight. The Dell Pocket DJ specifically has 3.5 by 2.1 by o.5 dimensions and 2.2 ounces weight. It is slick in its 1.6 inch diagonal LCD. It was patterned from the 20GB DJ, exhibiting the virtually identical anodized aluminum case, blue backlighting on the display and buttons, and the scroll barrel on the center. Though it is not as fashionably appealing as the Creative Zen Micro or iPod, it comes in a lighter and smaller form that is very easy to carry around. Aside from being portable, it is also user friendly and very solid. It works compatibly with MP3 and Microsoft Windows Media format.
Unless you update your drivers regularly you may face hardware performance issues.
To check your drivers you should manually verify every device on your system for driver updates
The dell Pocket DJ can work with any popular online music store as long as it uses a secure Windows Media Audio format. It s not compatible with iTunes Music store since it utilizes AAC files and thus, selectively works with various iPods only. Though it has not won much appreciation in terms of aesthetic quality, it will still work for those who favor sturdiness, efficiency and clean looks. Found at the top side lining of each unit are dedicated volume buttons, the headphone jack, power button, and a USB port 2.0 port line. The USB port can both perform data transferring and power connection. The hold switch can be found at the back. The interface is comparable to Creative's non-flash MP3 players, loading the menu with Play Mode, Music Library, Now Playing, Info and Date and Time Setting. These generally make the interface refined enough to compete well with the other second generation DJs in the market. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for and Dell Pocket DJ errors before installing any driver updates.
