The drivers also have an installing manual to guide the user through the installation process for maximum output. The scanner is versatile, compact, economical, powerful, and simple and it offers CRP (Central Reprographic Department) quality scanning compared to the amount one will have to spend on buying the scanner. With the set environmental standards, the scanner is set to comply with the environmental regularities, it consumes less power. It has a scanning speed of up to 86 images per minute and performs 131 ‚Äúback and front' check in a minute. There is also the option of multiple documents scanning to speed up scanning tasks. Some of the ‚Äòcommon' technical hitches like paper jam have been highly reduced to assure the user of quality and efficient output.

The DUOSCAN f40 device has dual sensors that allow one to scan documents fast, both two-sided and efficient one-pass. They also have a high resolution of 300dpi. The multiple scanning modes include 256 level grayscale that is of high speed, text only scan, text and photo scan, simplex/duplex among others. The scanners' tray holds up to 100 sheets of paper that are automatically fed into the scanner and they are automatically adjusted to different sizes. There is also an integrated skew correction that automatically straightens documents that have been misaligned. A pre-scan preview enables the user to accept or correct a document that they may not be comfortable with the final output. The scanner also an option where the user programs the device such that blank pages are not scanned, this saves time and power.
