The Echo Indigo IO device is capable of providing pro audio recording capabilities to users. It has one stereo and one eighth inch analog input and output on a Type II Cardbus card. This is usually powered by compatible notebook computer systems. This device mostly utilizes and combines with 24-bit and or 96 kHz converters. The package is also bundled with a six foot audio cable for RCA or .25 inch connections. The device also caters to 'virtual' outputs. No other device offers such a feature. The IO in the device typically has eight separate outputs. These are digitally mixed down to physical outputs through Indigo’s console and on-board DSP. This console enables all IO files to be compatible with all popular multi-track software. This also supports Echo's 'multi-client' drivers. This typically functions as an application that enables computers to work on more than one application.
Unless you update your drivers regularly you may face hardware performance issues.
To check your drivers you should manually verify every device on your system for driver updates
Samples provided by the device may include an editor and a software sync which can be played back through Indigo IO in one seating. Furthermore, the device also supports Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit) and Macintosh OS X - Jaguar, Panther and Tiger. It is also fully compatible with various pro audio software known as WDM Kernel Streaming, ASIO, GSIF 32-bit, and Core Audio. It also provides low latency drivers, full duplex 2 channel in, 2 channel out operation, High quality headphone amp, Type II Cardbus slot, and a built-in digital mixer that can provide near-zero latency monitoring. Echo Indigo IO is also considered as a PCI card, an expansion card that can be connected to a computer bus. The Echo Indigo IO driver is a 1.55 MB file. The latest version of this driver is 7.300. It was made available for consumers on October 8, 2007. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for and Echo Indigo io errors before installing any driver updates.
