The Elsa Gladiac 516 graphic card has an installed memory of 64 Mega bytes. It also has a memory data width of 256 bits. The memory technology used in the card is DDR or SDRAM. Since the graphic card uses S-Video, it is able to transfer video data as two different signals thus ensuring that the videos are of high quality unlike in composite videos where video information is transferred on a single signal, which lowers the signal quality. The s-video data transfer mode separates video into two components: color and brightness. The monitor used in the computer where the card is installed should ideally support the 16:0 or 4:3 display formats for proper functions to be attained. One can also use a simple adapter to enable the conversion of S-video to composite video thus enabling the user to use the graphic adapter in machines with earlier display models. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for and ELSA GLADIAC 516 errors before installing any driver updates.
