The GCC Elite 21 Series PCL is the newest addition to the printer family of the GCC Technologies Inc. It comes with the GCC Elite 21 Series PCL driver. This driver allows the Elite 21 Series PCL printer to employ its features. These features include the super-fast and super-powerful PowerPC processor and 1200-dpi print engine that produces an output of up to an amazing 21-page per minute (ppm). Each Elite 21 series model is shipped with a 10/100 Base T Ethernet standard for convenient cross-platform networking. Another good thing about the Elite 21 series is that it includes timesaving features to further increase productivity. With a transmit-once collation, the job of the user is transmitted to the printer only once, regardless of the number of copies the user selects to print. The luxury of printing multiple copies can also be enjoyed by the user without the need to type into the computer or in the network. All the printers in the Elite 21 series come with a standard 550-sheet paper tray, face-up tray for output and a 100-sheet tray for other purposes.
Unless you update your drivers regularly you may face hardware performance issues.
To check your drivers you should manually verify every device on your system for driver updates
The GCC Elite 21 Series PCL driver may also be used to update some GCC printer models. This is because these printer models feature a flash memory that allows upgrade with new firmware driver. Upgrading the printer allows the user to take advantage of new features or bug fixes. Upgrade files may be obtained from the driver download section of each printer. The upgrades may also be sent to the printers via their printer ports and once the print job has been received by the printer, the flash memory will be updated with the firmware. It is also important that upgrade is continuous and is not interrupted. If the printer loses power or is turned off while the upgrade is ongoing, the printer will stop working and may require repair from the service and technical support section of GCC Technology Inc. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for and GCC Elite 21 Series PCL errors before installing any driver updates.
