The HP LaserJet (DOT4) is a USB enabled printer with a print resolution of up to 1200 dpi. Its printing rate is 20 pages per minute using letter size paper and 19 pages per minute for A4 paper size with the first print taking under 10 seconds. The paper is fed through a priority feed tray with a capacity of 10 sheets and an optional input tray of up to 250 sheets. The appliance has an in-built RAM of 16MB with the option of upgrading to a maximum of 80MB. The appliance is installed with a 1284-b parallel port which goes through an LIO connection card. Operating systems that support the HP 1300 LaserJet are Windows 98, 2000, XP as well as Mac OSX v10.1 and Mac OS 9.x.
