The two USB ports that are in-built provide the users additional expansion. This notebook allows the users to close the ThinkPad notebook LCD and still have access to the features on their ThinkPad notebook requiring the function key such as suspend and system sleep. This function key allows the users to access to features like the volume of the speakers LCD brightness and LCD/ external monitor select. The keyboard has adjustable feet so that the users can position them in three different levels depending on the positions that fully satisfies their comfort. There is the flat level, where the keyboard is folded under, level 1 and level 2. In addition, the device has an integrated keyboard wrap which allows the device users to adjust the cord for storage or use.
Unless you update your drivers regularly you may face hardware performance issues.
To check your drivers you should manually verify every device on your system for driver updates
The device is an example of the IBM Think Vantage Design, which allows the device users to choose the pointing devices they wish to use. Some of the pointing devices can include touchpad and TrackPoint. The level of sensitivity of the TrackPoint can be adjusted to give the user a very light touch. A person who uses this device may use one of the two pointing devices or both. In addition, the users of the IBM ThinkPad UltraNav Pointing Device need not use an external mouse which saves the desktop space of the users. This is made possible since the TrackPoint can be used alongside software for wheel-emulation to provide almost every behavior of a mouse such as scrolling in both horizontal and vertical scrolling movements. This is achieved by configuring the TrackPoint so that the various movements can be achieved. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for and IBM ThinkPad UltraNav Pointing Device errors before installing any driver updates.
