Icatch(II) Composite USB Device is compatible with Windows 98, 2000, XP and NT platforms. The device comes with multiple interfaces on its first configuration. The different interfaces are all controlled independently. The device performs much faster when plugged onto a high speed port. While on the port, the Icatch(II) Composite USB Device displays a USB hub containing 8 open ports. By using the USB device, users are able to combine multiple functions onto one device. Functions that may be combined include keyboard and mouse, USB hard disk and video as well as input output devices such as USB bulk and HID (Human Interface Device). What is unique about the Icatch(II) Composite USB Device has to do with the fact that it helps ease the development of device drivers. A separate driver is assigned to each interface meaning monolithic drivers are not required for devices that are newly designed.
Unless you update your drivers regularly you may face hardware performance issues.
To check your drivers you should manually verify every device on your system for driver updates
Other devices related to the Icatch(II) Composite USB Device include Icatch VII, Icatch III, Icatch composite IV composite devices. All the different interfaces on the device are numbered. The device comes with interface descriptors. Where users attach an Icatch(II) Composite USB Device that has not been sequentially numbered onto a Windows XP platform, the device may not function as effectively as it more advanced. The device is bus powered and does not require the use of a hub. In order for the device to function effectively, an AVR USB evaluation board (STK525), an AVR USB microcontroller plus a USB cable are required. The Icatch(II) Composite USB Device comes with automatic detection of the removal as well as the insertion of the device. What is more, the device provides different transfer modes. These features make it possible for users to manage their multiple USB applications using only one device. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for and Icatch(II) Composite USB Device errors before installing any driver updates.
