The Leaf networks Adapter enables users to create and maintain a private virtual network much like a local area network. Members on this network are able to share folders and files as well a various devices and networked applications. Networked individuals are able to share game consoles, printers, TiVos, media servers and many other devices. Once installed the adapter enables data flow in a peer to peer manner without a proxy relaying the data flow. If the adapter was not installed properly during installation it is possible to do it manually. One should go the start menu and choose the control panel and select system. On system properties select the hardware tab. Select the device manager then scroll down and expand the list of network adapters. Double click on Leaf Networks Adapters and properties dialog then select the advanced tab. In the property list that appears, click on media status then adjust the value dialog to read always connected. Click OK and exit. Go to network connections and confirm connection.
Unless you update your drivers regularly you may face hardware performance issues.
To check your drivers you should manually verify every device on your system for driver updates
The leaf Networks adapter enables remote access to pictures music and movies through playback or live stream on a digital media receiver. This is only done if the media sharing function is enabled. If there is one gaming console on the network, game sharing function is enables for members on the network to play individually or against each other. Only those given access to the game share function can play. Sharing of excess disk space with a network member is also possible with the leaf networks adapter. A virtual disk can also be created by network members where mutual data can be accessed and shared. Creating a network will require Leaf Network software installed on the linked computers and leaf networks adapter to make the connection complete. A network is then created and other members invited to join the network. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for and Leaf Networks Adapter errors before installing any driver updates.
