The SAMPO P509 is a Liquid Crystal Display based computer monitor that allows for the rendering of processed data sent directly from the video adapter card of the host computer system. These types of hardware components are normally covered by the generic device drivers that are incorporated into newer operating system platforms. The generic device drivers are intended to make the supported hardware component functional based on the requirements of the host operating system environment. This means that if the minimum resolution required by the host operating system platform is merely 800 by 600 pixels then this will be the native resolution implemented on the connected device. This may be far from what is the intended native resolution based on the design of its manufacturer. In this context one of the basic roles of the device driver of the SAMPO P509 is to correctly identify to the host operating system platform the actual native resolution as well as the other resolutions that can be supported by the hardware component.
Unless you update your drivers regularly you may face hardware performance issues.
To check your drivers you should manually verify every device on your system for driver updates
The use of display resolutions is normally associated with the refresh rate property. However, according to some computer system experts, the use of refresh rates is not as important when dealing with Liquid Crystal Display monitors compared to using Cathode Ray Tube based ones. This is primarily because the refresh rate property is intended to minimize the amount of flicker experienced on Cathode Ray Tube display monitors and which is non-existent in Liquid Crystal Display based screens. Therefore the use of display resolution becomes one of the determining factors in the implementation of high quality textual and graphic images on the computer screen. To achieve such quality the device driver of the SAMPO P509 normally communicates with the device driver of the graphics processing card in order to present the highest quality display possible. The graphics processing card is responsible for the exclusive handling of data that will be rendered via the computer screen. The display subsystem of the host computer system works in conjunction with all of these hardware and software components. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for and SAMPO P509 errors before installing any driver updates.
