Sis 630/730 is a highly integrated chipset provider for AMD, Intel, VGA cards, PCs, network adapters, motherboards and some other electrical devices. It has video core that is based on 128-bit Sis 305. This video core has the ability to use its own local memory or it can take a chunk out of systems memory. Sis 630/730 chipset delivers 3D into 32-bit of color. It also supports full hardware decoding of the MPEG2 that gives CPU usage of approximately 10% when one is watching DVDs with appropriate soft wares. It also provides access to accelerations through DXVA that is under Windows XP or 2000. Sis 630/730 core supports two overlay surfaces, for each output. This makes it possible to view videos on both secondary monitor and primary monitor output. Sis 630/730 offers two USB 1.1 controllers allowing 2 12 MB to be shared amongst up to six physical USB ports.
