The Visioneer PhotoPort 7700 USB Scanner is an instrument utilized for organizing pictures and documents. The PhotoPort 7700 USB incorporates the Visioneer OneTouch technology that uses express digital camera card readers. This makes it easy for users to scan paper photos or transfer digital photos to the computer. The Users can simply insert the CompactFlash, SmartMedia memory card or the IBM Microdrive from the digital camera to automatically transmit images to the ScanSoft PaperPort exclusive software application. Users can also click on the Photoport 7700 button to upload images to PhotoWorks and get economical and outstanding prints. The OneTouch Prints button routinely scans traditional pictures or transports images from users' digital camera's memory card and delivers them to the OneTouch PhotoWorks software application. The OneTouch PhotoWorks software allows zooming, rotating, cropping and the enlargement of pictures up to 8'x12'. The pictures can also be uploaded with the click of a mouse.

To check your drivers you should manually verify every device on your system for driver updates

The PhotoPort 7700 scanner can recognize both 3.3V SmartMedia cards and Type-II or Type-I CompactFlash cards, including IBM's Microdrive. The scanner has an optical resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi and 42-bit color depth. It also has five 'OneTouch' buttons for copying, storing, emailing, as well as faxing images and uploading them to a website. The USB hardware and software drivers employed in the PhotoPort offers transfer speeds of up to four times faster than the USB in a digital camera and 30% faster than a committed USB flash reader. Upon inserting a flash card into one of the slots in the scanner, image files are automatically copied to the host PC and thumbnails of the transferred images are added to the bundled PaperPort Deluxe 7.0 software. Files can also be saved onto flash cards, allowing scanned images to be placed on flash and transferred to another PC or taken to a photofinisher on the card. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for and USB PhotoPort 7700 errors before installing any driver updates.
