This robuts chipset is capable of carrying out USB and ATM onboard processing meaning that no CPU cycles are used up on the computer system to preserve a connection. The drivers for this device can be utilized for creating changes to the window size of the TCP which is the maximum data amount allowed to be sent by a sender without having to require an acknowledgement. This TCP window greatly aids in enhancing the throughput although it must be configured accurately to get the best results.
