You can snap a screenshot from your computer using four capture modes. This software program is easy to use with three different save formats.

DuckCapture is a screen-capturing tool that makes it easier to do the job. It is as easy as choosing the area to capture and drawing an outline. You can either save the image to your clipboard, or transfer it to Minus which is an online file sharing site. There are three options for saving: JPG, BMP and PNG.

There are four capture modes. You can capture a whole screen, a region, a page, or a scrolling high page. DuckCapture will slow scroll the page down for you once you have selected the scroll function. This means you don't have any work to do.

DuckCapture allows you to add annotations. After selecting the screen area to capture, you can add text in different font sizes and styles. These annotations are saved to your screen so others can see them.

You can assign buttons to different tasks if you are frustrated searching for screen capture functions. Once you have assigned the hotkeys, you can use them to call up your favorite capture modes.

The program has two minor flaws. There is no editing feature, unlike Screenpresso and Snagit. You can't delay the capture to take timed screenshots. If you are skilled in writing scripts, DuckCapture can be extended to provide additional functionality.
