Fences for Windows

Fences is a program that organizes your desktop and hides your icons when they are not in use. A "Fence", which is a term that this program invented, is an icon group on the desktop. Fences are an add-on to your desktop and not a replacement.

Rope off your desktopFences allows for you to create shaded areas on the desktop where you can place icons. These can be labeled however you like and moved/resized anywhere on your desktop. You can see your wallpaper again with pre-included layouts. You can quickly hide and show all your icons by simply double-clicking the blank space on your desktop. All your icons will fade away. Double-click again and theyaEUR(tm),ll return. This feature is so unique and useful that we have applied for a patent. You can even choose icons and individual Fences that you want to exclude!
