Free duplicate image finder

FindSameImagesOK, a Windows app by Hrg Nenad, helps you find duplicates and edited copies of images stored on your devices. This app allows you to organize pictures based upon a pixel comparison. You can search for different versions of a photo, even if it has been mirrored, resized or rotated.

FindSameImagesOK can be used to analyse edited Android and iOS pictures. It can also be used to group duplicate images together by creating graphics signatures and comparing them at pixel level. It can be downloaded and run as a portable program on all 32 or 64-bit Windows operating system releases after XP OS.

File formats and operations

FindSameImagesOK supports all file types, including JPG, PNG and WMF. You can find all instances of any image format from your disk space, so it doesn't matter what format.

Once the app has returned the results of your duplicates search or similarity searches, you can delete or perform other tasks on your files individually or in a group. You can also let the app decide which version is best.

Key features

You can perform two types of comparison with the app. For instances where you know the location of the photos, there is a Folder Vs Folder comparison. The program can also analyze your entire disk space using the Compare All option. You can exclude subfolders from the search.

Another important feature is the ability to find similar photos. This is a great feature for digital photo library owners. You might have taken a photo of your brother at a famous landmark and then later took another one with your wife. These photos are flagged as 78% alike and the program displays them side-by-side. You can alter the similarity percentage.

Categorise duplicate or similar pictures

FindSameImagesOK can be thought of as an offline version of Google Image Search. You can send one image to the app and request all modified copies, duplicates, or similar versions. This image file finder can perform 100,000 comparisons per minute, which helps you to save valuable disk space.
