Free PDF reader

PDF Reader for Windows 7 provides a free PDF viewer that allows you to view and edit PDF documents with very limited editing capabilities, such as zooming, rotation, cropping, etc. The platform can open, view and convert PDF files. It can also print and edit them. PDF Reader is a lightweight program that opens PDF files quickly and loads any changes. People can browse PDF files in a similar way to Microsoft PowerPoint using the slideshow feature.

How can I get PDF Reader?

Only Microsoft Windows users can download PDF Reader. The freeware can be set as the default PDF editor or viewer by users. The application is free but the system will prompt the community to upgrade to the Pro Version. The Pro version allows you to remove text and images, and does not display the Pro package installation reminder.

How do I open a PDF file from my desktop?

The interface of the PDF software is very user-friendly. Navigate to the upper menu bar, and click 'File'. To open a PDF file, select 'Open ...'.. The software can open single- and multipage PDF files. The 'File tab allows users to 'Save as ...',, 'Close' and 'Print'. You can access the lower icon bar to view and save PDFs as well as print them.

The View' tab allows you to view content in various modes: Full Screen' Zoom In' /?Zoom Out', ’Zoom To , & 'Zoom To , & 'Fit Width’, —Fit Page' and a 'Actual Size’. Zoom commands are available on the icon bar. These commands can be used to zoom in or out of the PDF Reader community.

The icon bar contains the red, green and white dots. These buttons can be toggled on the PDF viewer to optimize your analytic experience. Users can crop using the scissors icon.

You can copy text and images from PDF documents by using the options found under the 'Edit" tab. The options are located in the upper menu bar under 'Copy As Text’ and 'Copy As Image’. They can also be found on the icon bar under the picture image and layered papers.

The clockwise and counterclockwise rotation features can be accessed by clicking on the icon bar under 'Edit'. Click on the blue arrows to access the rotate features: one turning to the right and one turning to your left.

To navigate through multiple pages of PDF files, users can find the 'Page tab. You can quickly locate the first and final pages of PDF files and browse them using the 'Previous Page" and 'Next Page’ options. After entering their preferred pages number, users can click on "Go to page ...'" and then "OK".

Using enhancement tools

Access 'Slideshow' under the tab 'Tools' to view multiple PDF files simultaneously. Slide show users can navigate through the slide show using the up, left, right and down arrows in the icon bar. Select 'Set as Default PDF Reader' to make PDF Reader your native PDF viewer, converter, and editor. This tab contains three reading modes that reduce eye strain: night, low-blue light, and plane.

You can customize the user interface and experience by using the 'Options menu. If someone needs support, the 'Help" tab will provide quick access via a pop-up web browser to other products or new updates.

The PDF Reader community can email the PDFLogic team via the book icon about their privacy policy, security terms and basic rights. To view the current version, click on "About" within the "Help" tab. The orange speech bubble in the icon bar provides information about the PDF file. This includes the file name, file size, number of pages, and so on.

Which PDF reader is the best?

PDFLogic Corporation's PDF Reader is not capable of creating PDFs. This task has been left to the PDF Creator by the developers. The platform's annotation tools do not extend to the ability to sign PDFs. This PDF Reader does however not allow users to annotate PDF files. You can convert PDF files to BMP, EMF and EPS as well as JPG, GIFs, PNGs, TIFFs, TXT and WMF.

Alternative PDF readers

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Nitro Reader, PDF Reader Pro and PDF Expert all require payment. Foxit Reader and PDF Reader Pro for Windows 7 are both free. Foxit Reader and PDF Reader offer far more PDF editing options than PDF Reader. Foxit provides software that allows users to merge PDF files, insert PDF's into document cloud storage and share PDF forms.

Foxit's interface is very similar to Microsoft Word's. Adobe Document Reader is a powerful app that allows you to compare PDF files. Nitro Reader can read PDF files at the same speed as PDF Reader and has a user interface similar to Foxit's which makes it easier to edit.

Adobe Reader, a PDF reader application, can share PDF files to other connected devices. This allows for commenting and annotations from receivers. These productivity features are not available with PDF Reader for Windows 7: cloud storage and sharing, as well as comparing services.

PDF Reader Pro is available for Windows, Mac and iOS. It can also be used on mobile devices and Android computers. Foxit is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems. Adobe Document Reader works with both Mac and Windows systems. PDF Expert is only available for Mac OS. Nitro and PDF Reader For Windows 7 are only available for Windows systems.
