SketchUp is Free!

SketchUp Make, previously known as Trimble Create was the default visual interface for Trimble’s modeling and rendering software, SketchUp. SketchUp Make was originally designed to make it easier for artists and designers, as well as to simplify the process of using 3D visualization software. It is currently the free version for 3D artists. SketchUp Make does not have all the features of SketchUp Pro, but it is free to use. This makes it an excellent value for artists and designers who want a simple interface to help them get their projects off to the ground.

SketchUp Make's desktop version is free and allows you to edit any file that can be converted into a.DXF format. This is a standard format used by many applications. To import any file you have in memory, simply click the "Open" button. You can also check the box to create a copy any object you wish to convert into SketchUp. This will make the object available as an open drawing, which you can edit with color or shape. It is as simple as converting an image file to a.DXF format and sketching your original design.

SketchUp Make is available as a free download on the official website. You can install it by clicking the start icon from your system tray. After SketchUp is installed, you'll need to open the start menu to locate SketchUp. Double-click on it to launch it. You can then add and edit different objects and change their shape and colors. Overall, SketchUp Make makes it a lot easier to draw sketch drawings and work with them.
